News from Xinhua.net, China MIIT published "China small medium enterprises electronic commerce development report (2009) on December 23th. In the report, Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises created new value accounting for 1.5% of Chinese GDP through e-commerce, and also stimulated GDP growth by 0.13%.

In addition to stimulating GDP, China small and medium-sized enterprises have contributed a lot to both domestic trade and international trade via electronic commerce; and the contribution is very outstanding. The small scale of e-commerce will reach 1.99 trillion Yuan, a growth of about 20% year-on-year. Among the increase, domestic trade and foreign trade size are respectively 1.13 trillion Yuanhe and 0.86 trillion Yuan, respectively equivalent 6% and 8.9% of domestic total sales of commodities and total exports of 2008.

Besides, the small and medium-sized enterprises create new increasing jobs  beyond 13 million directly through e-commerce, which is equivalent of 11.7% of new adding jobs in towns in 2008.
